Fair housing

The short answer

Gold Peach Realty and Dawsonville Homes support the Fair Housing Act and equal housing opportunity. We do not describe areas, homes or neighbours in terms of race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status or national origin, and we welcome every buyer and seller in Dawson County and across North Georgia.

Last checked October 19, 2026

The federal Fair Housing Act prohibits discrimination in housing because of race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status or national origin. Gold Peach Realty follows it in every transaction, and this guide describes places by their roads, water, utilities, taxes, rules and amenities, never by who lives there. School information is limited to which district school serves an address and how to check it.

If you believe you have experienced housing discrimination, you can contact the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development at hud.gov/fairhousing.

Gold Peach Realty is the North Georgia brokerage behind this guide. Our agents can check whether a home is on sewer or septic, which school zone and tax district it sits in, and what the Corps of Engineers allows on a lake lot, and show you homes that fit how you plan to live.
